"You're brave aren't you?"
a blank look
"Al's not very happy with you"
another blank look
"Aren't you the bloke who did his spray job?"
"no, I'm the bloke who lives in his road"
"Oh OK"
A quote from Handsome Dan:
"She was boring but I could see YOU liked her"
She wasn't boring, she was quite nice for an art teacher, ha ha.
I'm not into pretentious art rock bands/singers, I had to suffer those on Friday.
Caroline has been promoted from cowbells to the snare drum!
I missed a pretty big opportunity in The Rainbow last night, doh! No hat, you see. :)
Joe missed an even bigger one.
Went to a party and drank rocket fuel and sang along to Elton John records and left at half six.

Madness and Messiness
That was one big weekend. Started off drinking cava on the train on the way to Nottingham Friday afternoon and ended eating pizza and drinking San Miguels at Handsome Dan's Tuesday morning with sitting in the sun next to a canal, The Social, Stealth, drinking beer at nine in the morning, being really really talkative and keeping everyone awake, having to be responsible adult, the balti cottage and well over thirty six hours without sleep, the Country Girl, hat wearing in DC10 @ The Medicine Bar, partying for seventeen hours non-stop, being very hyperactive, having to fix stuff at work, walking home, a pub quiz and lots and lots and lots and lots more cava all sandwiched in between. Ace.

Single Bloke
Rebecca left on Friday but strangely hasn't taken any of her stuff other than the washing machine and the TV. I need a skip. Ha Ha.
Last night Emma, Dan and I went to the Bash Bar at the top of New Street for a very hot and sweaty Northern Soul night. Emma got told off for throwing her wine glass on the floor which would mean people couldn't do their windscreen washer dancing.
Apparently the Bash Bar closes at two and then opens again at three till eight as an after club club. I wish I hadn't found that out.
I think Dan and I decided that we are going to go to Benicassim again this year.

No Internet
I've got no internet at home so these posts will be a bit infrequent for a while...
It was Joe's birthday last night and we all went to The New Inn in town (or The Wellington) and drank stinking real ale.
Richard had lots of free tickets for the Medicine Bar but the gang could not be persuaded to come. I think Colin was tempted but he said his life would not be worth living.
Time seemed to slow down, I danced for ages and ages. The music was ace especially DJ Flore, she came on towards the end of the night and it was starting to empty out but she played the best music.
A young lady tried to send me go blind by wearing a very revealing low cut top and jiggling her rather ample bits around at my eye level. She obviously found this very amusing because she kissed me and ran off laughing.
Its now about four o'clock and I am still feeling the effects.
What to do tonight? Joe wants me to go to Leicester and see Paul for his birthday but I'm a little skint and fancy going somewhere nice and chilled out.
