Wh.a..t...a....s....l.....o......w.......w......e.....e.....e...........k!!!

Writing software to parse XML is driving me nuts...every time I fix something another part breaks...my computer programming job is so frustrating I go from having to work out one thing that I don't really understand to having learn something that I don't really understand or care to understand to looking up something else I don't understand properly to fixing yet another thing that I don't quite understand...and it loops and loops and loops and loops and while (1 <> 2)....

I can never remember any syntax, I have to look everything up...but perhaps that's not a bad thing I suppose you'd have to be slightly autistic or very boring to remember all of that shite.

Nothing at all has happened since Saturday, I haven't had a full day off in what feels like forever.

Boring post. Sorry. I've not done much lately. And there's no stupid unrequited love thing going on to talk about. Just work. And not too much play to speak of.

Oh yeah I saw Seasick Steve on Saturday, his set was very similar to the one he did at Bestival only longer but not too much...he's very good when he gets the Sonic Youth style feedback going but can be a bit slow otherwise.....entertaining enough.

Haven't had a "large" one in a while, trying not to made me ill last time, bit skint (understatement) but I'll keep you posted if I do. Assuming I can still write afterwards....

Slow..........Week.

Pub tomorrow?

What the....

How the fuck did I manage to spend SIXTY QUID!!! last night? There were no huge rounds, there were three of us in the taxi (and Joe paid most of it), I didn't drink a huge amount and the dodgy nightclub we went to was only a fiver to get into...

Bizarre.

For a change I feel like this:

You show us everything you've got
You keep on dancin' and the room gets hot
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You say you wanna go for a spin
The party's just begun, we'll let you in
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'

I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day

You keep on saying you'll be mine for a while
You're lookin' fancy and I like your style
You drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You show us everything you've got
Baby, baby that's quite a lot
And you drive us wild, we'll drive you crazy
You keep on shoutin', you keep on shoutin'

I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll all nite and party every day
I wanna rock and roll

Richard C's Big Night Out

Wine at home (v.nice).
Can of John Smiths on the bus (yuk).
One Lager in the Bulls Head followed by a Cuba Libre.
A pint in the horrid horrid Weatherspoons.
A drunken Emma in the fighting cocks.
Tired rock music at subculture.
A queue.
Some fucking great music.
Some moody drumnbass types squaring up to each other.
A lovely blonde girl.
Too much too much.
After clubs are the best.
After clubs are the worst.
A moment of reflection.
Fights in fast food joints.
The Longest journey home ever.
Bed.
No sleep.
